A superb early portrait study of SS-Obersturmführer Albert Stenwedel. The numbered collar patch of SS-Standarte 3 "Der Führer" can be seen to great advantage. He wears the SS-VT earth grey tunic and standard leather belt but with cross strap, a feature rapidly done away with after the start of the war.
